Throw away 100 grand here! It's easy!

If you want to lose 100 grand and have nothing to show for it, then by all means, this is the place. I took my life dream and invention to this company, and while they say all the fluffy stuff, what they really do is hand you off to some obscure lawyer and then basically just take your money hand over fist and leave you to the wolves. I picked this company to do my electronics patent, and they gave me a lawyer (2 months after paying them) that didn't have a clue about what I was doing and had never done an electronics patent before, and it was obvious. I tried to get a different lawyer through this company, and they said it would be another 2 months.. this is a time sensitive thing, patents, and I couldn't do that because there was investors and a protoype device in the works. also... The lawyer told me 'he knew what he was doing' and even the patent agents (don't forget THEY AREN'T LAWYERS AT THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE SALESPEOPLE) and owner at innovative told me 'the lawyer is right, and that I was wrong'.. They 'lawyer' didn't even understand the technology, and basically 'ARGUED WITH ME, THE INVENTOR, ABOUT WHAT MY INVENTION ACTUALLY DID!!!!!' Innovative kept saying 'he knows his stuff and the patent was done his way', well needless to say, we lost 100 grand over 3 years and we don't have a patent to show for it. The lawyer screwed up and failed to file something on time (which we paid to have filed on time) and the patent was abandoned, and now they want tens of thousands to fix their screwup!!!!! In the meantime, my company has gone bankrupt waiting for this patent that never came. If you have an idea and invention, take it elsewhere! I suggest talking to a lawyer directly! Skip the snake oil patent 'agents'. They will take your dream and destroy it. My experience makes me wonder how on earth this company is still in business!! Then I look at the costs and the 'sorry, not our fault' attitude, and then I understand the gravy train. They won't care if you don't get your patent!
