Applelini-licious!
Not sure if thats a word but this place makes the best Apple Martinis. Not a huge martini lover? Guve this place a shot! Its got a great location and is always a good time!
Great Date Spot in the Annex
Insomnia has just the right amount of lighting and the music is great for that date atmosphere, not too loud, not too bright....Great place for some convo and drinks. They do a mean ceasar here as well as some great Martinis too. The drinks are well priced and the service is fantastic! The have an interesting dinner menu too...I remember having the Potato bacon soup and it rocked! Brunch is also quite awesome here! Dont forgot to order a mimosa with breakfast..they are delish!

What can I say? The martinis at Insomnia are all soooo good! As for the food...it's pretty awesome. I especially LOVE the grilled calamari! To die for!!! It's grilled just right. Best calamari I've had in Toronto by far...although I do notice that most calamari is served breaded & deep fried. Try Insomnia's grilled calamari...you won't be disappointed! :)

September 22, 2011Horrible experience. My wife ordered the Tuna special then we heard the waitress tell the table beside us not to order the tuna because of the high mercury content. Waitress was really insincere, and slow. Not the same place we visited a couple years ago frequently. Steak requested medium rare was medium well.
