Can't Wait for Patio Season!!!

Il Gatto Nero has great Italian food and a WONDERFUL patio! I can't wait for patio season! There's also a good selection of vegetarian dishes.

Great Italian Meals

The service was fast and friendly, the food was amazing and the location is great! I had a spinelli for the first time and it was delicious.. I will definitely be returning soon.

Not from Toronto and went there to get a bite to eat before a concert at the Mod club. C@!p food and c@!p service. The only thing I enjoyed was my bottle of domestic beer. blah tasting food. I thought it would taste like authentic Italian food, nope, especially when the cook was not Italian but some other nationality.

I really like this place. Its a nice atmosphere, the housewine (valpolicella) is a light good wine for 30 a bottle. the food is good (not fantastic .. but the pizza is nice, pasta is ok, the specials are usually really good). if u wanna hang out to drink wine with friends, have some snacks along and enjoy the wonderful (!) patio, this is the place!

We were about to take back the tip, but then we decided to give it to her anyway. Considering her lousy and unfriendly service, she is lucky she got any tip. There are other places to get thin crust, authentic... more
