June 30, 2008I was really excited to go to Hulberts because I had walked by it several times and thought that it looked like a trendy and cozy neighborhood café. I would have expected the staff to be more than pleased to serve two-university students breakfast on a sunny Saturday morning in July; this was not the case. The kind of place that makes cities work!
February 29, 2008We often long to live in a 'real' city, like a New York or a Stockholm -- where people live and move around within their immediate communities with plenty of opportunity to mix with their neighbours as they patronize locally owned establishments. Great Food, Slow Service
June 30, 2007Hulbert's is in a nice little community in Edmonton called Belgravia and I've driven by it many times and wanted to try it.
