The Ritz and its restaurants were closed for all of 2009 through 2011, and is expected to reopen in January 2012. The C$150-million renovation project will convert some of the property to private condominiums and hopefully retain the grandeur of the hotel accommodations and public spaces, such as the Oval ballroom and "Cinderella staircase." The automatic lights have settings for every need. There is even an automatic function that lights the way to the bathroom as soon as you put your foot on the floor from the side... more

The hotel has been renovated top to bottom and it is beautiful, stylish, open, spacious, classy, sophisticated, friendly, comfortable and luxurious. Check out the pool and deck on the top floor.
The staff, very professional but also very approachable. Always a greeting in the common areas.
Our room was large and not crowded with furniture, lights, temperature and blinds controlled...
