Situated on a slightly seedy strip across from the convention centre, this is what you'd call an up-and-comer. A perfectly good place to rest your weary (and mojito-filled) head after a day of gallavanting around the Old Port, but the W this ain't. Clean, affordable, friendly with a great location. This hotel is close to good restaurants,bars, shopping, and old Montreal. The keyed elevator access and security cameras made me feel safe, and the staff was friendly and helpful. This is the perfect hotel to explore Montreal from. I stayed here for labour day weekend and I have to say I was quite impressed with the hotel. Good service. Clean room. Friendly staff, and a real cutie at the front desk:) I'd come back for sure. Oh yeah, and I almost forgot about the breakfast - nothing fantastic - but pretty good nonetheless.

May 25, 2009Disgusting service. Location is great but they are taking advantage of it and service is really bad. They give you free internet access but don't tell you have to pay $15 per night for parking and their parking is limited, they say breakfast is included but who will eat that food? There is nothing to eat. No pool, no gym (they have gym but it's for 3 people maximum!) While we were staying there... more
