I have stayed at Place DuPuis MANY times over the years. While I agree the pool is more like a wading pool, and the exercise area is not what a gym enthusiast would like, I never had a bad time with the place. I always found staff pleasant and accommodating, The hotel also had a great Sunday brunch for a reasonable price (as far as brunches go)
