Great renovation - nice downtown hotel

The rooms are super clean and newly renovated - looks great. Nice to have a beautiful hotel right downtown Kamloops so you can walk downtown and do some shopping. Liked their in hotel restaurant too - Embers.

After searching for this hotel online got a fabulous deal from skoosh. The hotel was very clean and newly renovated. I would suggest top floor on back side as front side is busy with casino downstairs and bars nearby. Did nit hear any after party noise on top floor at back. Drawback is no breakfast but for the savings it was more than worth the stay. Was worried about the booking after reading... more

When we left Montana, we decided to go back to Oregon through Canada. I had never heard of Kamloops, but my husband, the model train fanatic had, and had ran across another fellow modeler that was from the area and told him about a good hobby shop in the area. Adventure on.

Actually this place is no longer called the Executive Inn but the Hotel 540. There is free underground parking. The check in process was friendly and professional. The rooms are and comfortable. However, did find the HVAC system a little loud. The staff seem friendly. The restaurant was a bit overpriced for breakfast.
