Chainlet of quick, efficient, budget-conscious Chinese food. Hon's is known for its potstickers: pork, beef, chicken, or vegetarian served pan-fried, steamed, or in broth. The special vegetarian menu is vast, featuring items such as vegetarian goose (bean curd skin roll) and hearty hot-and-sour soup. Hon's are always packed, the kitchen is always in a hurry, but the price is right. (At press... more

Hon Kwong Ip opened a Chinatown restaurant 40 years ago, and this big, bright dining room on Robson Street is now one of four Vancouver locations. Hon's makes no pretense at being a fancy eatery. It is a big space filled with simple tables and chairs that are designed for eating food. An initial tip-off came as we entered. The crowd was definitely... more

Really relaxing dim sum place in downtown, extremely friendly staffs & quick efficient service. If you are hungry this is a good place to go for huge portion. They served honest food not that kind of fancy designed fusion dishes. I like the deco of the restaurant, real & retro Hong Kong. Pretty good price too, worth checking out from time to time.

Well Hons is all about its pot stickers and the rest.... Not too sure.
Well went to this place couple times and its ok but not great. I some times think the food is made for non Chinese. But or maybe they just don't know how to cook it well. So yes they are famous for their pot stickers. Love them but again, don't expect a lot of meat from them

In terms of Decor, it's a meh.... Sometime I feel... more

Large quantity servings of food. Quality is acceptable and satisfactory especially when you are paying so little. (Incl. tax/grat. for $4 more than McDonald's) This is the place for FOOD not for service or ambiance. If the girls pour you some tea or help to serve you soup that is their best service! Best valued in Vancouver and very best valued in Downtown. Suitable for singles and large groups... more
