Use Caution

I would strongly discourage building with Homes by 2Broz. We have had many issues with the product and the headache is not worth it. Although the structural construction of the house seems sound, the finishing work definitely leaves a lot to be desired. In the first year and a half that we have lived here we have come across many issues. Here is a partial list of these issues. Very poor silicone job around bathroom sinks, silicone was smeared all over countertops and was not removed, many gaps in silicone that allow water to leak under the sink into the cabinet. Even after coming back to try and fix this, this end product was not any better. We have seen the joints in the baseboards beginning to separate and leave gaps. The grout on the tile around the bathtubs is already cracking which is allowing water to leak behind the tub and cause a possible moisture problem in the wall. The gas fireplace was installed in such a way that the tile around it gets so hot that it is impossible to touch and makes it extremely dangerous to the point of not being able to use it when little children are around. The grout on this tile can not stand up to this heat and is cracking. The showers were installed with the showerheads on the wrong side of the shower, this makes it impossible to install shower doors as per the manufacturer’s specifications.
We were not looking for perfection; we were simply looking for good sound quality. Prior to signing a contract we did a lot of research and heard many negative comments but for whatever reason, allowed the small sampling of their work that they showed us to cloud our judgment and went with them anyway. I understand that one review is a very small sample size so do not make a decision based on this alone, but please do your research before buying. Ask around, talk to other people in town, try and find somebody that has owned a house for a couple of years that was build by them. Don’t be fooled by the bright and shiny brand new homes they will show you. This company does not have a good reputation and I would hate to see other people have the horrible experience that we have had to go through.
