Great Selection and Prices
HMV is a great place to go to grab DVDs, CDs, Video Games. They have a wide selection and the prices are fair (Can't beat the two for $20 deals!). If you're looking for something rare you aren't likely to find it here but they definetly have alot to choose from.
Huge store and great selection
This is the best HMV in the city. It has a giant collection of CDs, DVDs, records and video games. It also has cheap prices on headphones and other electronics.
Yonge st HMV
YES the Yonge street HMV has finally got a decent stock of vinyl, along with everthing else you are looking for in a record store these days.

This is the flagship Toronto store of the British chain. (You'll find smaller outlets throughout the city.) The selection of pop, rock, jazz, and classical music is large. Best of all, you can listen to a CD before you buy it.

February 22, 2009I went into HMV cause they had this 50% off rock band ad on their outside wall. Apparently they sold out in 10 minutes (or something) yet kept it up to lure people into the store. I was disappointed that when I got there they did not give a rain check and were like dumb to what was going on. otherwise games, music is all good. I like the location but besides that one small issue we like the place.
