Watchout for payouts to this "compnay"
make sure you have a spelled out contract with this company. In my case, they took money, did some excavation and abandoned the job with the money. They also provide verba quotes below normal levels to get the contract but would milk your pockets out, without any regard for contracts or quotes. I was told that for jobs below 5000 you can go to small claims but legal fees would exceed the claim so it is not worth it, and many contractors know that and take advantage of it. Watch out for this company. Safe to assume this company believes they are immune to customers voicing their discontent publicly. I don't recommend them at all. Please look for a different company in town.
Hardrock Masonry...good start, no followup
Hardrock Masonry built a large masonry wall for us. We had a geotech engineer draw a simple plan which was not consulted by the company when they built the wall as they felt they knew how to tackle the project best. It turned out looking very attractive and we paid handsomely for it. However, inadequate provision was made for water coming through the bedrock behind the wall. When significant buildup of calcium began to appear where water was seeping through the mortar joints over the course of a couple of winters, we contacted Shane first by phone, then by email via his website, and finally by a mailed letter. We asked him to come and look at the problem and to suggest ways he might correct it. We have received no response at all and the last attempt (letter) was five months ago. Apparently the problem is ours.

I hired Hard Rock to landscape my front yard with a new lawn, retaining wall, and a pillar in the front of the driveway. The project was finished on time and to my expectations. I would highly recomennd them for any stonework and landscaping job.
