Nice decor...food average
May 31, 2014Tripping around downtown led us to this place for a bite to eat and a glass of wine. Newly renovated, the atmosphere is very mod and pleasing but the food was not up to par. My steak sandwich was fairly bland and my wife's calamari was sent back (and she knows her calamari). Fries were good, though, maybe a little... more

Great atmosphere and staff - worst calamari ever
April 26, 2014We popped in for quick drink and a bite at this lovely hotel lobby resto/bar. The staff were awesome and my husband's beef dip sandwich was good but the calamari I ordered was awful. Thick salty undercooked coating on rock hard (possibly still frozen?) calamari. Granted, it's not the easiest seafood to prepare, Greek restaurants seem to do it best,... more

Great place for a quick lunch - and you must try the chowder

At first it was a suggestion that I try the chowder. The next day it had been replaced by a command "You MUST try the chowder!" and so I dutifully went downstairs and had some excellent chowder. Great pieces of seafood and smaller pieces of potato in a lovely sauce. Yummy!
Service was friendly and I was very comfortable there...
