Surprising variety and low priced

This is a venue filled with unique food vendors with reasonable prices. A total surprise. You should go down there and have a look around...

Last Saturday, en route home from the Halifax Seaport market, I noticed a prime empty parking spot in front of the old Halifax Market site, so I squealed the car over, intent on checking it out. If you are at Halifax, do catch the interesting Farmer's Market which opens every Saturday from 7am to 1pm. This market has many sections, ranging from vegetables, meat, bread, seafood, wine, art etc. Interesting sutff in the market include the maple wine and syrup of Nova Scotia and there is a store selling lobster hotdog. You should try this hotdog as it is very delicious.

A very well organized Market that offers everything form fresh produce to Alcohol. The only bad thing about the market is that it somewhat hard to get around if you have never been there before.....Good luck finding the Alcohol stands that offer free samples!!!

Everything from fresh baked bread, to wines from the province, to up-scale fashion boutiques. This market has a little for everyone and then some.
