In the same building as the Museum of Vancouver, the space center and observatory has hands-on displays and exhibits that will delight budding astronomy buffs and their parents (or older space buffs and their children). It used to be so good

I used to go to the Planetarium as a child and then started to take my own children who are now teenagers. I was hoping that the poor reviews were untrue but alas I have to echo them. It has changed even in the last few years since I last went.

Prices are out of this world

To much money to get in. My family and I had to pay about 80$!!! For that we only got to watch a short planetarium presentation! Additional presentations meant MORE MONEY! That said, staff were very knowledgeable and knew lots of facts about our universe. The exhibits were amazing which made up for some of the money. My son particularly... more

The planetarium is nice

But don't expect much from the displays. Most of them are out of order or barely functional and all are geared toward young children. The planetarium and live shows are nice, but the other 20-25 minutes worth of exhibits need serious updating.
