Pretty average ... caters to nbhd locals

Ambience is strangely like a nbhd restaurant, not really a Japanese restaurant at all. The food is pretty average, including the sushi. Probably a nice spot where the local neighbourhood peeps can walk to, but if you're not local and driving for sushi, you can do a lot better at other sushi restaurants elsewhere. However, we recently went w/ small kids and it was very family friendly. Not too many sushi restaurants you can go to that are like that, i.e. most are adult oriented. So, if you want to go out for sushi and have small kids along, this is a pretty good bet.
