Hate hotels/motels BUT would stay here again
September 24, 2013Not a planned stop over. We got grounded due to weather in our path, so had no choice but to stay in whitecourt. Asked around and everyone i talked to said green gables inn is really nice. Just checked in. Nice staff, very quiet, very affordable (not like taxi ride from the airport) and CLEAN! Hard to come by nowadays.... more

A Piece of PEI in Alberta
August 22, 2013The Inn was above expectations. Front desk staff on both shifts were very warm and friendly. Our room was very clean, comfortable and had all we needed for a quiet night's rest and more (fridge, microwave, coffee perk and TV). Not much more you could expect fo $95 a night
June 30, 2013We stayed at Green Gables 2 nights in June/July. It's a "motel style" inn on Whitecourt's main highway. The rooms are set back, so highway sounds are minimal. Our room was basic, with 2 queen beds (we were travelling with a child), but had everything we required. A fridge, stove, microwave, kitchen sink, dishes and a few cooking pots. The... more
