The Great Escape Book Store is a quaint little bookstore in an older neighbourhood north of The Beaches. It reminds me of those old bookstores that used to be downtown around U of T that have mostly closed now. I set myself a monthly book budget which I promptly blow here. My partner and I like to spend time wandering the crowded shelves and picking out gems. Great selection, great prices, and very knowledgeable help. A neighborhood gem.
