Is a MUST when in Vancouver! Cool little ferry/aquabus experience to get there. The island offers a public market with wide variety of selections; restaurants, fresh produce and local products! Live artists everywhere singers and instrument players. They even have a theatre.

Had a great lunch date here yesterday. Me and my girlfriend spent a few hours walking around, getting a quick bite, and enjoying the views. Overall had a fun afternoon with lots of things to look at and do whitch kept us busy. Will be back

The Granville Island is a place of its own within a city. It could be modeled after the "Gamla Stan" in Stockholm Sweden. However, it seemed to be a hybrid of old school 1970's Soho NYC and Pike Place Market in Seattle. There were many shops, mini malls and galleries on the streets dedicated to Arts and crafts.
