This 3,902-sq.-m (42,000-sq.-ft.) public market features produce, meats, fish, wines, cheeses, arts and crafts, and lots of unique fast-food counters offering a little of everything. The market is open daily 9am to 6pm. From mid-June to October, the Granville Island Farmers' Market operates here Thursday from 10am to 7pm.

This is clearly a 5 star place anything less is wrong. To me, it had some of the best fresh meats, poultry and seafood I've ever seen. The variety of deli meats, cheeses, prepared seafood will make your head spin. It's a foodie's paradise. Great breads, butter, a vast array of fruits and veggies. FRESH- mangosteen- very hard find. As a tourist I recommend going hungry bring a good pocket knife... more

One of my favorite places in the world! The Granville Island Public Market is like Pike Place Market on steroids. Everything you could possibly want or dream of is here, its a foodie's fantasy playground. Butchers, fresh produce and fruit, teas, arts and crafts, cheesemongers, specialty items, imports, crepes, gelato, spice mongers, and lets not forget LEE'S DOUGHNUTS!. The list just goes on... more
