Can anyone tell me where, or what stand, sells soursop?
This 3,902-sq.-m (42,000-sq.-ft.) public market features produce, meats, fish, wines, cheeses, arts and crafts, and lots of unique fast-food counters offering a little of everything. The market is open daily 9am to 6pm. From mid-June to October, the Granville Island Farmers' Market operates here Thursday from 10am to 7pm.
The whole "island" is a fun area to wonder around and explore. I suggest taking a bus over to Granville if you are visiting during a weekend, parking is a pain and there is a ton of traffic in a small area. There is plenty to do here for a day visit. While visiting Vancouver, coming into the Granville Market made me wish I was a resident, just so I could come back again the next day!
Every once in a while a market just goes above and beyond expectations. Granville Island is a firm #2 on my list that I have visited, only behind Boqueria Market in Barcelona, Spain.
