Unparalleled hotel experience in Toronto. The ONLY con is the area, which is a haven for drugs and prostitution. The service, rooms and overall experience is just lovely. My favourite hotel in Toronto (I've stayed at at least ten good ones).
Great room, fantastic price. We enjoyed the rooftop terrace hot tubs during our stay as well. The best part was the breakfast in the morning. Not one of those cost bagel continental breakfast, but a full on meal. Will definitely stay here again.
This was our first time visiting the Grand. My family and I stayed for four days in late August 2011 to attend a convention. We found the staff pleasant and helpful in all situations. The breakfast buffet well exceeded our expectations. The view from the roof did not disappoint. We were very pleased. Contrary to a previous poster, the area was not rampant with homeless people and prostitutes.... more
