Award Winning Burmese Restaurant

We are so luck to have this amazing restaurant - the only Burmese restaurant in Canada! Everything is made fresh, generous portions, reasonable prices, down town with easy side parking, and the most amazing food! Try the Coconut Chicken Noodle dish. It's listed under soups, but it is more like noodles and sauce, plenty for 2-3 people. Absolutely scrumptious and not as rich as you might think. It's served with lemon and cilantro and red onion on the side, and topped with crispy battered onions. So good. The tempura squash is excellent too. I haven't had a dish there that I didn't love, but the Coconut Noodles are my favourite.

The food we had was incredible

The food at Golden Pagoda is incredible. Each dish we ordered was different and flavorful. We tried to have the squash appetizer but they didn't have any squash. We also tried to have the salad with the green tea leaves but they were out of the leaves and couldn't make that either. Both were dishes we had never seen anywhere... more

Very extensive menu, and extremely reasonable prices. Tempura squash sticks were awesome! Very generous portions, and a lot of variety available. Service was friendly. Will definitely be back.

So good

Had my first meal at the Golden Pagoda yesterday. Tasty! Everything was fresh, nicely cooked and presented. There was lots of it too! No going home hungry. The restaurant was clean. The service was friendly and accomodating. The prices excellent. I'll be back!
