Breakfast
December 25, 2013Looking for a restaurant that was kid-friendly, we re-discovered the Golden Griddle. The two-year old was terrible indeed, but the patient staff supplied her with crayons and colouring mats to keep her busy. They were wise enough to put us in an area this was sparsely occupied. The breakfast was quite adequate. If they'll have us, we'll be back again.

Typical Chain Food
March 23, 2013We had our car in for service and this place was close by. We should have eaten at McDonalds as the food would have been fresher. Predictable all-day breakfast
March 11, 2013This is a predictable all-day breakfast kinda place, eggs always done the way ordered, entire meal served hot and quickly. Nothing trendy or avantgard or unpronounceable. Endless coffee, senior discount. For the restaurant it is, it is. I've been eating here twice yearly when I'm in Guelph to visit a friend, for more than ten years.
