Extremely Poor Service

I find it unbelievable that this individual is still in business. He really needs to get with the times, or retire. I came into gold and time jewellery on bloor st in mississauga near cawthra to get a chain repaired, and the gentleman was too busy having a conversation with an older lady, who came in obviously to chat and not purchase anything at that time. When I asked for his assistance with my chain he then sighed at me and I felt I was interrupting his conversation with this older lady. She was on the same side of the counter as me and i believe they were speaking in their native tongue, possibly portugese. In any event the gentleman was very rude to me when i proceeded to ask questions as to how much it would be to repair my chain and he was being more argumentative with me then helpful. Finally, after going back and forth for about five minutes he agreed to fix my chain for $20 as it was just a clasp or clamp which needed to be replaced, and i asked if he took interact or credit card, he replied yes, then sighed again, and tried to get me to go to the bank machine next door at the convenience store rather then put me through his system, as he went back to his conversation with this lady and I again felt as if I was interrupting his conversation. I felt it may have been due to my age, since i am just over 30, however i felt like my business was not appreciated whatsoever. Maybe it was because i was not spending several hundred or thousand dollars with him, I don't really know, but I was pretty offended.
One thing I do know is that I will not recommend this dated individual to anyone and will be seeking a much more professional retail location to purchase my engagement and wedding rings due to this bad experience.
