not a popular release theatre

this theatre doesn't typically play the popular releases, it plays the 2nd rate movies that are still really good. the seating is not very comfortable, and movies are a bit cheaper than the big theatres, but the titles are what you should come for. keep an eye on their website or FFWD magazine for showtimes.

Not much to say about this theatre. It's not as revered as a Plaza or Uptown, probably because it isn't a completely independent cinema, but at the same time it does exhibit some art-house flicks worth seeing.

If your sick of Hollywood blockbusters, the Globe is certainly worth looking into. They play a number of unique shows from documentaries, independent films, "the best commercials" and more. It has an old "worn-in" feel to it, which carries from the lobby into the actual theatre, but this only adds to the atmosphere.
