The BEST hamburgers anywhere
May 28, 2014I have been going to George's Food Bar since it opened many years ago. Best burger and fries anywhere. Good chinese food too!!

George's take-out used to be located next to an old well-used pub. The pub was demolished years ago but George's carries on because of its loyal customers.
There is nothing amazing here - just consistent quality and quantity and ease of access. PS. The George burger (whatever they call it) is legend.

Pretty average. Don't believe the hype
July 06, 2013I ate at Georges today for the first time. I've read good things on here about the place and i had heard good things, and i must say I'm a little disappointed. The Chinese was pretty tasty but the burgers were average. My friend didn't want to finish his ate finding a fairly large piece of bone in his patty.... more
