A great gem in the Heart of Langford.  You wouldn't think it, but the dining here is fantastic. The service is friendly and welcoming.  The food is dynamic and fresh. I was absolutely blown away. I've had lunch here from time to time, which has been great, but the dinner menu completely changes things.  Romantic setting for nice evenings out, but allows for larger groups to spread out and enjoy.

First, I gotta say, it's weird that there is "Cafe" in the title of the Garlic Rose. I would say it's more of a Bar & Grille... on with the review.On some other review sites, people bashed the service there... well, that's not entirely unfounded. This place is busy and we had a seafood pasta and fish and chips. A bit pricey but at least we were full after. I like the spicy crispy batter on the fish and the pasta was tasty.
