Gamerama Scammers

Quoted me $100 bucks to factory unlock my phone, left the phone with them to get the job done handed of the receipt and said it would be ready the same day.
It was not ready the same day and on top of the owner no longer wanted to honor the $100 quote and now wanted $150.
Don't waste your time with these people, they are scammers....

BAD Phone Repair

DO NOT BUY FROM OR USE ANY OF THE SERVICES OF THIS STORE

THE SHORT VERSION OF WHAT I WENT THROUGH:

I gave them my phone because it wasn't working, they said they would fix it, they tried to sell me a c@!%!y used phone instead of my phone (saying my phone was damaged beyond repair), I demanded my original phone back, they gave it back...and it was working

THE LONG VERSION OF WHAT I WENT THROUGH:

I brought my smartphone in on July 18th, 2012, after it had been submerged in water and could turn on, but would shortly turn itself off after being on. Alex (the main phone repair man) said it would cost between 50 dollars (for a simple repair) and 110 dollars (if the motherboard had to be replaced) in order to repair the phone. He said it would be ready the next day

July 19th, 2012, I called the shop and they said the repair would be complete by the next day. Alex said that the phone required a new motherboard.

July 20th, 2012, I called the shop and Alex said that the phone was fixed and ready for me to pick it up. I come in to the shop to get my phone, and they say it will now cost 130 dollars. The phone they have...is not my phone. They try to get me to purchase some used phone. Alex is not in the shop, so I can't inquire whether they mixed my phone up or what the problem is. I tell them I am not taking the phone (since it isn't mine), and that I will call Alex when he gets back from his vacation on July 22nd, 2012.

July 22nd, 2012, I call Alex and tell him that the phone they had for me at the store was not my phone. Alex says that the reason that all of the parts are different is because there was too much water damage on my phone, that it was completely unsalvageable. I tell him that we agreed upon changing the motherboard and nothing more, and that replacing the phone was not an acceptable "fix". Alex gets very defensive on the phone, saying he is an honest man, etc. I say at this point all I want is my original phone, and that I will not be paying for his services. He says I can come in to get the phone.

July 23rd, 2012, I come in to the shop to get my phone. A man behind the counter passes me my phone (remember, it's supposed to be broken beyond repair) and...it's on. I say something like "wow it's on" aloud and the man behind the counter says "oh maybe that's not your phone" and reaches out his hand to take it back. I enter the passcode (it works) and say "nope this is my passcode, bye!" and exit the store immediately.

MY OPINION ON THE STORE:

Basically it seems as though they are running a sketchy business that in one way or another is trying to scam buyers.
