The best pub-grub
February 07, 2011I remember 30 years ago going down to the Galley Pump and the line ups to get in and that wasn't just in the evenings. There where also line ups at lunch time because they served the best pub-grub in the city other than the running Pump (same cook). We had our championship baseball parties there. July 26, 2007Years ago, if you didn't get to this place by 6 o'clock there was a lineup at the door. That was for the food. The owner at that time had a great business sense. He realized early that all he needed to do was get the people in, and the business would take care of itself. Get'em in, feed'em, entertain them, and sell then a boat load of beer.
