This is my favorite place for desserts. I never found better cakes in Montreal. This place got everything to satisfy your sweet teeth. The best croissants (dream-like almond croissant, brioche..), homemade chocolates made with the best Valrhona chocolate, and their amazing fresh, not too sweet, very creative cakes. The employees are very friendly and professional, too. A few tables and a sunny counter to have a delicious tea/coffee time. A real discovery!
This is my favorite place for desserts. This place is famous for their croissants but they also have amazing chocolates and desserts! Homemade chocolates made with the best Valrhona chocolates, very artistic cakes, fabulous green tea cake! They also carry wide range of tea. Fun to visit!
Montréal has no shortage of patisseries, gelato makers and chocolatiers, but Fous Desserts is at or near the top of everyone's list of favorites. The variety alone is astounding and changes with the seasons. Some things to try: le Phenix (brownie base topped with Caribbean chocolate mousse-enveloped ganache), Manjari cocoa truffles, almond croissants, and brioche aux pralines roses. Oh my.
