needs updates

My family and I stayed there for 2 nights - after the first 10 minutes my wife wanted to leave but because of a wedding we were attending there the same weekend we stayed put - also there is only one other gig in town. Location is really only thing saving them. The showers smell of mildew. Good thing Wal-Mart was across the street - my wife had to buy Febreeze to spray around the room every so often. There were 2 chairs in the room that were disgustingly dirty and stained. Our mini fridge wasn't working and when I brought it to one of the girls on guest services, she complained that she has brought it up with management but they don't seem to care. She said they have had similiar complaints from other rooms. The restaurant and wedding facilities were great but as for the motel part...try the Carbonear Motel. This place needs a fresh coat of paint to help mask the musty and mildew smell.
