Owners Gary and Larry Lancaster are passionate entrepreneurs with a creative flair. Both Gary and Larry went from suits to jeans almost every night after work to do what they truly love. In the mid 70’s they decided that it was time to make the move into starting their own business. First opening the business as GB Lancaster out of their house, business started booming. After only a few short years they needed to expand and open a store front location. With help from various friends, politicians and government officials (including the attorney general) the launch was a success. Thirty years later they still have their very first customer along with hundreds of satisfied clients.

Building a name for themselves and having interesting connections Lancaster Flowers was honoured with the task of preparing the flower arrangements for the Queen on her arrival in Ontario. In appreciation the Office of International Relations and Protocol, Ministry of Enterprise, Opportunity and Innovation sent a thank you letter to Gary and Larry along with some photos of the Queen with their flowers.
