A customer is a customer no matter how big or small.

Poor customer service. Think twice when considering this business. Staff quite friendly with exception of the owner. Lacks customer service skills. I recently hosted a small function and elected to stay local for the venue, invites, attire and florist. Needless to say all other vendors were exceptional, however, dealing with this florist was a trying experience. I was consistently reminded how small my order was. I had asked for a sample of the arrangement that I had ordered in advance and specified at the time of booking that I would be paying for it. I also offered to leave a deposit, but was told it would not be necessary. A few days before my event, I contacted this business to follow up on my sample and was told my order was too small to have sample made and if the owner made samples for all small orders that she would not be making any money. Then she continued to tell me how a large corporation placed a big order and she would definately be making a sample for them. She did not once suggest I pay for the sample, although at time of booking, as mentioned above, I said I would pay for it. In my opinion this business owner is only after the big customers and interested in making a "big buck". She lacks eloquence and hasn't a clue how to deal with customers. Upon picking up my order, I attempted to address my concerns again she reminded me of her big bridal orders.. which are of no interest to me. She also proceeded to tell me that a florist down the road would have charged me more for the same arrangement. Again, this information was of no interest to me. Bolton is a community where local merchants are currently suffering for many reasons. Unfortunately, this business has made me reconsider my "think local" approach. So it is back to the big city for future floral arrangement orders, where customer service, style, design are for superior.
