When I think of French food, my thoughts generally fall into one of three categories. High end, refined cuisine, delectable and precise pastries, and peasant food. Did not like the way I was approached when I phoned in and when we arrived.
Small, about the average size of a restaurant in St. John's, but VERY good!! I went for my 19th Birthday, and when they brought me my dessert it had a candle and a sparkler with "Happy Birthday" By Marilyn Monroe playing in the background! An excellent restaurant. Perfect. A little bit of France in Calgary. Very pleasant bistro atmosphere and outstanding food. Certainly on a par with what you would experience in France.
