Find Another Campground to stay at....

The beautiful views are the only thing this campground has going for it.

The facilities are dated, the bathrooms are in need of major cleaning and an overhaul, and that is putting it nicely.

The attitude and hostility that was repeatedly displayed by both the staff and the owners was very disconcerting. We were not party people, we had two young children with us, but were repeatedly harassed to put our dog on a leash - when she was already on one!!! If our dog was running around freely I could understand them coming down to lecture us, however, she was always leashed - either electronically with a shock collar or physically with a rope leash. The owners spoke about a child being bitten the week before, however, after reading the review below by Michael & Sandra - it would seem the owners were negligent in doing anything about their situation.

I strongly suggest staying elsewhere. There are many beautiful places along the Bay of Fundy, don't subject yourself to misery by staying here.

The Bay of Fundy is huge - choose a different campsite

While we were generally pleased with this tightly packed older RV 'resort' and it's view of the Bay of Fundy - we very very disappointed in the owners response to our son being bitten by another guests dog.

Our son asked to pet a leased dog and it lunged at him, bit him and drew blood. While the dog owners were very cooperative in supplying all the necessary paperwork for their dog before our trip to the hospital - the resort owners would not follow their own policies regarding pets - either issuing warnings, asking the guests to leave or even forcing the owners to keep their dog inside for the duration of their stay.

It was very disappointing to be on the receiving end of such a nonchalant attitude towards pet aggression and children - not even checking to see how badly our son was hurt or the size of the wound - so we packed up and left right away.

Thankfully our sons wound did not require stitches at the nearest hospital but precautionary antibiotics were given.

Based on this experience I would not recommend this resort to anyone.

In Need Of Major Attitude Adjustment... :(

The view is gorgeous. Not the people greeting you though. My husband was in the office booking a site and I was having a really bad day, due to something I ate, so I was in the camper feeling ill. There was a knock on the door. I thought it was hubby so I told him to wait, that I was almost done. Then the pounding got harder and louder. So finally I managed to open the door and standing there is this woman with a very angry look on her face. I asked what the problem was, and here are her words: "This is private property and I must ask you to leave immediately". I told her my husband was in the office booking a site. Her reply was: "There's no one in the office, you must leave now". Okay, I'm weak from being ill and I have this to deal with. So, where the hell is my husband then??? Oh, looky here, he's in the office. She apologized but needless to say apology was not acceptable at this point. Had I felt better I would have told my husband to get our money back and leave. We did see a provincial park on our way to this campground, but I told my husband to drive the extra mile, that this place looked really nice. Boy am I sorry I did that. We should have gone back.
Needless to say, we're NEVER, EVER going back. We'll stay at the provincial park if we're ever in that area again. Oh, forgot to mention, this really ruined the last leg of our trip.
