nice venue
Best view and scenery of any restaurant I've ever been in.
Last time I ate there, the fries were of the frozen variety, and the steak would stop a bullet. Haven't been there in quite a while.

Where the food is as good as the view
April 30, 2014I have been to Fitzgerald's several times, and each time I have found the food to be excellent. The staff are friendly and courteous, and the view is beautiful. The premises are clean and attractive, and there is sufficient parking for all. I would suggest this as a place to stop to anyone - but bring an appetite! It's two... more

Fitzgerald's Restaurant is located in a scenic area of Cape Breton Island overlooking the Bras d'Or Lakes and Kelly's Mountain. We specialize in Cape Breton seafood and excellently prepared steak as well as other local specialities. The restaurant is cozy and the service is friendly and efficient.
