Reminiscent of a more genteel era, this green clapboard clubhouse from 1929 is surrounded by lawns and ancient cedar trees, and looks out over English Bay (in the summer, try for a table on the veranda). Enjoy a traditional afternoon tea, Sunday brunch, or a memorable lunch or dinner of fresh B.C. oysters and shellfish, fresh seasonal fish, and signature dishes such as maple-glazed salmon,... more

I have been eating at the Fish House since I was a kid when I would go a couple of times a year with my family for special occasions. I have never had a bad meal and have never had bad service. The food is the best quality you'll find in the city. Full Stop.

This restaurant in Stanley Park is a civic institution. Not only does it have views of English Bay and Stanley Park's forests, it offers some of the city's best seafood. Start dinner with a trip to the fresh oyster bar, one of the city's best. Starters include the Flaming Prawns (sauteed with garlic, roasted red peppers, tomatoes, spinach and feta, and flamed with ouzo, CAD12.95), while main... more
