Great pub for weekday lunch
Not only a great place on the weekend, but great for weekday lunch. Weekends are actually quieter than during the week as the business crowd packs this place basically every weekday. Either way, the menu is really, really good. Good selection of brews of course.
downtown irish pub
there aren't a lot of irish pubs downtown they seem to all be in suburban neighbourhoods. this is the exception and it's in eau claire so it's a pretty cool place. i would have expected it to be overpriced, but it's not, it's reasonable.
Get yer oysters here!
I'm not sure that this concept is still going on, but they used to have free raw oysters on Friday. Unbelievable, I know, but they would only have a limited amount. Fresh and delicious. Besides that, this is a GREAT Irish pub for after work, lunch, dinner, whatever. Good food on the menu, good drinks, good atmosphere with TVs, music, and alway some kind of interesting special.

Horrible Service, Avoid this place!
September 23, 2011The last few times that I have been here I have experienced absolutely horrible service. Tonight I was ignored for 20 minutes and could not get a drink or a menu. Fully staffed but the staff was too interested in having conversations with their friends than fully serving all customers. They need to make some serious management changes here.

August 31, 2011Located in the Sheraton Eau Claire hotel, nice atmosphere, food was so-so. Our waitress used an off and on sort of Irish sounding accent, she was friendly though.

Good service in a cozy pub
June 06, 2011The food here is good - not stellar - but I must say the service we got beat the heck out of the service my husband and I normally get in many other Calgarian establishments. We were there to send off a colleague of his who was moving, so there were maybe 6-7 of us and we were all served our libations quickly and politely.
