Both locations boast a large menu of more than 75 Vietnamese, Chinese and Thai food items including Shanghai noodles & Thai basil chicken as well as exotic drinks like lychee martinis. A hidden gen in the heart of downtown and a brand new addition to the Bayview Ave. strip.
It's a small restaurant, but like any other, they have their lunch & dinner rushes. I've personally heard the owner of the restaurant yell at his employees for simply not picking up dishes from tables while walking back to the counter. If an employee isn't doing what you want, the last thing to do is yell at them! Here's a few tips to the owner. Point it out to your employee, most of the time they don't know want you want because they can't read your mind. Tell them in a non-confrontational manner, it's absorbed better that way! I wouldn't take it from him, however, as customers, it is not in our position to do anything directly about it. Needless to say, I will NEVER step foot into a restaurant who's owner/manager etc. treats it's employees in such a manner.
P.S. The pad thai was literally tasteless compared to Salad King and the one on Baldwin just to name a few and the vegetarian dishes were served with fish sauce. 2 staff because of the low budget. I walked to the washroom & saw on my way one of them looking up from a binder how to make a drink a customer ordered. Ha!
