Out for money only

Our city councillor Joe referred us to these people.

They said they would only come out if we were to sign up our neighbours and get at least ten $10 memberships for them.

When they came out all they did was rant against the Mayor and the Premier, tried to sign us up with NDP election campaigns and they wanted us to send letters to all the city politicians not to cut their taxpayer funding!

These people are atrocious - run the other way.

They talk big but they don't know what they are talking about.

They want you to sign up your neighbors for paid memberships but they don't even know the law but still give "legal advice".

Then they use your name at City Hall saying you work with them, when you only met with them once, and then you get hassled by your landlord because this group will publicly use your name wihtout your permission to promote themselves.

You can read all you need to know about these slimeballs at www.qaz.ca/torontotenants/fmta.html

A must to avoid!

These people give me wrong legal advice and then they wanted me to go door to door to sign up all my neighbors so they and I could buy memberships in their group.

When I called up my city councillor I found out they are paid $1/2 a million a year by the city to provide legal advice and organize tenants though they don't have a single lawyer in their employ!

I would avoid these creeps at all costs and go directly to the tenant advice line of the Ontario government's Landlord and Tenant Board www.ltb.gov.on.ca 416-645-8080 for any help.
