While walking through Byward Market, we stopped by Fat Tuesday's for their Buck-a-Shuck oysters. Although it was a quiet evening, the restaurant had a fun and funky vibe. We were seated promptly in a booth proximal to the entrance.

Beers were okay (they have local beers from a microbrewery). The price was okay too. We came to see the palm reader and left the place before they started charging cover to see a pianist perform.
