Unique and Chick!
If you need something original and dressy to wear look no further. This place is a custom designed clothes only. The owner is the designer. All the items were made by here. There are a few imports but very few. The employees are helpful and friendly and actually tell you if you look fat in something. The place is expensive though most dresses start at $300 and can go up to $5000
Amazing and Original
Ladies, no visit to Queen street is complete without a look inside Fashion Crimes. They have amazing original designs that range from Prom-worthy to casual "throw it on and walk out the door" dresses.
This is one of my favourite places for accessories and is a great option for brides looking for a unique way to complete your look.

Toronto designer Pam Chorley's store looks like a princess's dressing room, complete with Venetian glass and ornate chandeliers. There are clothes for women here, too, but her Misdemeanors line makes gossamer gowns and ruby slippers for little girls who dream they're really princesses.

The selection of dresses is okay, mostly bridal and bridesmaids dresses with some cool whimsical pieces.
However, the customer service was pretty bad. The dress I ended up purchasing had a snag in the chiffon and the sales person had no interest in telling me how to fix it. Also it was a bit dirty and they had no recommendations when I noted this. Kind of seemed like they were apathetic about...

So this place is great if you need a costume or a cheap dress for a halloween or theme party. Otherwise I would say it is definitely overpriced and some of the stuff is tacky. The staff is pretty nice but the owner herself Pam Chorley has a major chip on her shoulder. There were two dresses that were identical except for the colour, but same cut and material. If you have a special event this is a great place to check out. They have a very large selection of unique dresses and the prices are not too bad (good selection on the sale rack). They will custom make for you as well, so you can choose a different fabric or colour or length if you're so inclined. They're also very good at recommending the right shoes & costume jewelry etc to accent the dress... more
