There's no posing or pretension here–they only took down the macramé owl recently. With both a hotel and hospital nearby, it's a friendly, older crowd, reminiscent of a sitcom set in a bar, with less budget for sets. But booze is cheapish and the music is often terrific, especially the jazz jam on Thursdays from 6 to 9. Watch pantsuited cougars squirm in their seats. But beware, sonny–they bite.
Very BAD customer "service". The slow slobs behind the bar serve watered down drinks and the manager Adele is atrocious and on some kind of power trip. Why can't I rate 0 stars.
This place is fun!!! It is middle age crowed but people actually dance and enjoy them selves and the drinks are really cheap
Hadn't been there since the late 90"s.The place hasn't changed much and that's a good thing! It was like going back in time...Sort of.The crowd( place was busy) was from the 30's to their 60's.Two descent cover bands and a good beer selection.
I'm going back for sure .
