Unlike many modern-day coffee shops, in this one you are served at your table. Another review said that you can get coffee cheaper here than at the Starbucks across the road, but that is not really true because at Faema, the coffee cup is much smaller so you get less for your buck.

These guys are lowlife thieves ! My boyfriend brought in an expresso machine to be repaired (it's also a shop and repair place--hah!), and was charged twice the estimate which he payed (because he had good memories of Faema in Montreal). This casual dining spot has an extremely pleasant, upbeat atmosphere. Food is very tastily prepared, from healthy ingredients and is always always good. Soups are like homemade; you can really tell the difference. I still think about their (seasonal) gazpacho. We go there a lot for a quick supper, and have never been disappointed. Service is attentive but not phoney.... more
