Amid a mainly Asian collection of shops, eateries and other stores, you can find the slow spread of other kinds of places that are merging into this neighborhood. You can notice is especially if you walk from Gastown towards the heart of Chinatown. Now whether this is a good or bad thing, it surely is up for debate depending on your stance. Coffee by Stumptown - a great Portland roaster. Food is pretty good. Service is friendly. WiFi is strong. Everything is where I go when I'm in that neighbourhood.

Worst customer service -- Avoid at all cost

I bought a bag of coffee and as it turned out, they gave me the wrong one I wanted! I took it back to them and they refused to exchange for the right one...saying they couldn't sell it - I didn't open the bag of coffee at all.
As if this wasn't bad enough, they denied having this particular coffee... more

The shop is nicely decorated. Love those recycle wood from the jerk yard and decorated the wall. Beautiful color and texture..lot of character...the Tuna melt tast great little expensive for a $8.50 in chinatown..came with a green salad..small bowl..tasting the wi-fil see how fast...waitesses are friendly and nice place to hang out after dim sum....coffee is great smooth and mild...something... more
