Best Tapas Restaurant in Toronto

Hands down one of my best dining experiences ever in the city of Toronto. The service was attentive but not over crowding and allowed you to soak up the ambiance and characters in the room. Food was incredible. I can only recommend that you do not eat lunch the day you are going. Several tapas were stand outs SOLOMILLO CON TRES SALSAS, PATO CON PERAS & PATATAS BRAVAS!
Wow is all my taste bucs can muster.

Even catered to my gluten free needs!

Fabulous service and food....which is saying a lot for a foodie with Celiac disease who requires a gluten free, no-cross-contamination option! The dates wrapped in bacon were a highlight.

Nasty Meal
January 14, 2012

Nasty. My wife and I made a reservation for Embrujo Flamenco this past Friday night. We arrived at about 6:30 on a snowy night and already the place was filling up. The restaurant is comfortable enough - the heat was a tad high but I suspect they were trying to warm it up for guests on a colder night. The chairs comfy enough but the tables were a tad small. The waitress seemed to be in a hurry... more

tired of mediocrity

I read the reviews before I visited this restaurant and maybe their expectations are a lot less than mine. Not only was it unreasonably expensive, $ 10. per tapas and $19. per 1/2 liter of sangria (and though I was told they go to great effort to make their own I doubt it) one of our tapas orders was substituted for something close but not what was ordered. Surprisingly it was the better of all... more

This is a small, intimate restaurant that serves fantastic Tapas and they have flamenco dancers/musicians to entertain you while you eat - I think the show generally starts around 7pm. The service is great too. The place has a romantic/bohemian feel to it. But really it is the food and entertainment that makes it unique - they have a tapas that is butterflied prawns in chocolate sauce and... more

Famous for their weekly live flamenco dancing and traditional regional recipes, this incarnation of the original west-end location has been a huge success. Their eclectic Spanish menu is loaded with fresh vegetables, natural ingredients, olive oil, game meats and more. Live flamenco and other live shows are held Wednesdays through Sundays. Located on the Danforth just east of Broadview, Embrujo... more
