I recently went to a conference in Ottawa and opted to stay at a cheaper hotel - Embassy West hotel. It was by far the best value I found in the area. The rooms were quite luxurious especially for the cheap rate. I was told they were greatly discounted since they are transitioning to a retirement facility. My company likes to have networking, client and human resource meetings and events off-site. I recently booked their meeting room for a client event. Unfriendly,& rude, under major repair

FRont desk upon checking in were unhepful even when getting 2 rooms. Housekeeping comes in your room even with the do not disturb sign on door.not a good stay
