The Elephant and Castle has been CLOSED since 2005. Earls (a popular Canadian chain restaurant) opened in this space in 2006. Leave a Comment Theme: Pub/Brewery Address: The Bay Center - 1150 Douglas Street Directions: Downtown Victoria. Located in the shopping mall, on the corner of View and Government Streets.

Disappointing
September 26, 2004I've been there a few times simply because it is right in the Eaton's Centre (Bay Centre now) However, I won't be back. I had the worst meal ever. You wouldn't think you could do much wrong with a burger, but they did. It was cold. I sent it back and they microwaved the whole thing. Bun, lettuce, tomato and all. Of course I couldn't eat it because the meat was now tough, and the lettuce wilted... more
