Year round the staff at Eldon House are open with special events. I have been to almost all and loved everything that the day offered. If you love a city's history

We are big fans of where it all began so if you feel the same, don't miss this museum. The staff is dressed in period costume and the furnishings are original or original to the period. Watch for the tile work around the fireplaces. Not like a castle, but lots to see, so plan at least a couple of hours.... more
