Do NOT use them. Worst experience EVER!!
Worst experience EVER. Would not recommend to anybody. They were unprofessional and broke several items while moving, including my 42" plasma TV, a lamp and coffee table. Get this, I moved ACROSS the street and still they managed to F*** up.
What's worse, before the move, they asked me over the phone to declare all the items that would be insured. Obviously, I included my TV. At no time did they tell me that electronics were not included. After the incident, they then told me electronics were not covered.
So essentially, I paid them $300 to break $800 of my possessions (ie. total cost of move $1,100). They weren't even decent enough to not charge me for the move!!! Went back and forth with the company. They were very slow to respond (like two weeks kind of slow) and still refuse to reimburse me for the money I paid for the move. Absolutely unacceptable!!! Terrible service and even worse after service!!!

El Cheapo Movers moved Ros and I from our loft to our new house across town. We didn't ask them to do any of the packing or unpacking - just moving boxes and furniture out of one place and into the other. Fo this, they were brilliant! They showed up exactly on time, worked really hard and had the whole job done in under 3 hours. And considering their hourly rate, this made the whole move VERY... more

Used these guys to move across the city, and they were great. They were inexpensive, on time, friendly, and moved everything into the truck really quickly. When we got to the new apartment, the power was out in the building -- and the movers took everything up several flights of stairs up to the new apartment. The company doesn't insure Ikea furniture, which worried me at first, but the movers... more
